The Evian Championship continues to strengthen its sports policy through the international influence of its qualifications in Europe, the United States and Korea. These events give the opportunity, again this year, to 5 players to join the very closed field of the 5th and last Major of the season (the field is made up of 120 players selected according to very rigorous criteria).

New, the European qualifications are based on the Jabra Ladies Open which is gaining momentum by becoming a stage of LETAS. This circuit, a real breeding ground for young talents at the gates of the European Women's Tour, this year has 12 events, the Jabra Ladies Open standing out as the peak of the season with its endowment of € 50.

Contested from June 1 to 3 at the Evian Resort Golf Club, the Jabra Ladies Open will bring together 120 international players, including current LETAS winners such as the Englishwoman Meghan MacLaren, the Finnish Linda Henriksson or the French Valentine Derrey. LET players will also try to win the sesame for the Major like the French Isabelle Boineau and Gwladys Nocera, the Spanish Nuria Iturrios, or the young Danish Emily Kristine Pedersen ... (registrations closed on May 23, 2017).

After the 54 holes of stroke play, two players (the first 2 in the tournament ranking) will have the chance to leave with their selection for the Evian Championship.

Three other passports will be granted to enter the Major field. The US qualifications will give two places at the end of the PHC Classic on the Symetra Tour in early August. As for the Asian qualifications, a dedicated event was created in Korea, the Evian Challenge, with two tournaments and a final, from June 26 to August 7, at the end of which the best performing player will win her ticket to the Evian Championship.
