After shining on the opening lap with a -4 card, Toulousaine Yvie Chaucheprat had a more difficult day and lost many places on the leaderboard. Despite everything, we find a Frenchwoman at the forefront: Manon Gidali.

After a first round in the par on the south course, Manon Gidali signs a card of 66 (-5) on the north course of Real Golf La Manga Club. She made no mistakes for five birdies and took second place in the standings. She is positioned one stroke from the leader, the English Meghan MacLaren.

This 66 (-5) is the best card of the day on the north course co-owned with Scottish Laura Beveridge.

The first amateur in the ranking is the Moroccan Ines Laklalech. She is currently third at -3 for the tournament.
