Leader at the start of the last lap, Adrian Meronk held on to claim his first victory on the DP World Tour. Thanks to a total of -20, he won this Horizon Irish Open with a three-stroke lead over New Zealander Ryan Fox. Antoine Rozner finished 13th in the event nine strokes behind the winner.

The Irish Open returned this year with a new title sponsor for the tournament which is now called the Horizon Irish Open. The tournament also offered qualifying places for the 150th The Open.

Leader at the start of the last lap, the Pole Adrian Meronk was able to stay the course by signing a final card of 66 (-6). He will have sought his victory in the money time by playing -4 on his last four holes: birdie 15, birdie 16, eagle 17 and par 18.

He is the only player to have played under 70 in all four rounds. He thus won his first victory on the DP World Tour by lifting the Horizon Irish Open trophy and moved up to 64th place in the world, his best career ranking. He will participate in the 150th The Open.

Ryan Fox signs the best card on Sunday with a 64 (-8), despite a bogey at 18. He takes second place in the event. Thriston Lawrence completes the podium.

Shane Lowry finished first in Ireland in ninth place with an aggregate score of -12. He was able to take advantage of the weekend to get closer to the leading men thanks to cards of 68 (-4) and 67 (-5).

 

The first Frenchman ranks 13th in the person of Antoine Rozner. In the top 10 at the start of the last lap, the Racingman signs a last card of 71 (-1) to finish at -11 total.

Romain Langasque and Julien Brun finished 30th in the event at -7.

Frederic Lacroix, after a first round in 65 (-7) then in 71 (-1), had a more difficult weekend with two cards above the par two cards of 73 (+1). He finally finished 37th at -6.

Julien Guerrier ranks 46th at -5.

Matthieu Pavon ends his week at -3, in 67th position.
