27 nationalities for this women's golf meeting! Twelfth stage of the Ladies European Tour Access Series 2016, the NordicTrack Open in Strasbourg will take place from September 22 to 24 at the Golf Club in Strasbourg.

NordicTrack, world leader in home fitness, has engaged in ambitious partnerships this year.

The specialist in high-end bikes, ellipticals and treadmills for individuals has this year become an official supplier to the French Open, official partner of the Lacoste Ladies Open in France, and title partner of this event of the Ladies European Tour Access Series.

This Strasbourg stage will be a pivotal moment for proets from all horizons, where it will be essential to score precious points in order to be able to consider entering the Top 5 of LETAS at the end of the season, synonymous with accession to the Ladies European Tour 2017.

To date, the Spanish Marie PARRA dominates the ranking with already 2 victories this season. She is followed by the Austrian Sarah SCHOBER and the English Charlotte THOMPSON. The last two will be on the Strasbourg greens, more than ever ready to tame the demanding course of the Golf Club of Strasbourg.

Strasbourg, support for women's golf

Since 2014, the event has benefited from the invaluable support of the City and the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg.

Indeed, the Eurometropolis, official partner of the event, shows its attachment to women's golf, which made its return last August at the Olympic Games in Rio.

The regional capital, also qualified as “European capital”, will see players from all over Europe compete against each other, but also some South American, American and Asian players.

The tricolor clan will be well represented; Marion DUVERNAY who has a good season on LETAS (12th in the general classification) will be there next week. Graduated from University of Tennessee (Chattanooga) 13rd last year, signed his first professional success last May in Spain.

We will also find Astrid VAYSON DE PRADENNE, Marie FOURQUIER, Alexandra BONETTI, Camille FALLAY as well as the young talented Eva GILLY.

However, our French will have a lot to face the competition: the Swedish Emma Westin, winner of the Ranking LET Access Series 2014, the Spanish Virginia ESPEJO as well as the best players in the Ranking.

The endowment for the event is € 30 and the cut, at the end of the 000nd round, is fixed at 2 players (more tied and amateurs).
