On the sublime course of La Quinta in California, the residents of the PGA Tour have surpassed themselves, signing more birdies than each other to get the trophy for this American Express. With a card of 64 (-8), it was the American Hudson Swafford who won the victory, ahead of Tom Hoge by two strokes. Hudson Swafford was able to outrun his opponents during important moments, in particular with his eagle sequence on 16th then birdie on 17th. He is now a triple winner on the PGA Tour and has joined the world top 100: he has jumped more than from 166th to 61st in the world.

Paul Barjon, after spending the Cut in Hawaii during the Sony Open, will have made us dream of American Express this week. In the top 15 from the first round with a card of 66 (-6), the former KornFerry Tour player continued with a card of 67 (-5), then a superb 65 (-7) during the moving day. allowing you to sit in the leader's seat.

In the last game on Sunday, the Frenchman's fourth round took a long time to get started: two bogeys for five pars on his first seven holes. Two birdies on holes 8 then 9 thanks to a Pitching Wedge shot on the flag allow him to pass the first leg in par. It will be his only birdies of the day, a new bogey on the 12 will make him return a card above Par in 73 (+1). He finished 10th at -17.

Even if the Frenchman was certainly not hoping for this scenario at the end of the tournament, he signed his best result on the PGA Tour with this top 10. He also gained more than 50 places in the world rankings, he is now 257th.
