The PNC Championship 2022 purse is set at $1,085 million, with the winner's share being $200, more than the standard payout of 000% according to the PGA Tour Prize Breakdown Table. The prize is divided between the teammates.

Players on the winning team could each receive $100 for the win if they are both professionals. The winning team also receives a championship belt as a trophy, which is rather elegant and a tribute to the early days of the British Open Championship.

Tiger Woods and his 13-year-old son Charlie are making their third straight appearance at the PNC Championship. They will try to do better than the second place obtained last year, which was marked by a record 11 consecutive birdies in the last round. The Woods finished two lengths behind John Daly and his son, John Daly II, a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.

Tiger recently admitted to being overdriver for the first time by his son Charlie. A promising future for young Charlie, only 13 years old, who follows in his father's footsteps.

In recent months, Charlie has had a string of solid performances in competitions in his age category. Advised by his father, the barely teenager finished 11th in the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship. The power of his swing compared to those of his comrades particularly caught the attention. But it is also and above all his attitude on the ground that calls out: the same facial features, the same facial expressions, the same imperturbable concentration, the same clenched fist to celebrate a difficult putt. Impossible to miss the paternal signature. Especially since the duo enjoys cultivating this resemblance by wearing identical outfits on each of their public outings on the greens.

This tournament promises to be full of talent and golf demonstrations.
