This last round of the Pelican Women's Championship in Florida offered its share of reversals.

Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson, the two leaders on Saturday night started this Sunday at the mark of -16. Nelly Korda quickly imposed her rhythm on the start of the game: thanks to five birdies for a single bogey, she passed her first ten holes in -4 and took two strokes in advance.

On hole number 12, we witness on the last part what is commonly called a spilled cream: Lexi Thomson signs a birdie, while Nelly Korda commits a bogey. The two women are now co-leader at -19.

What one could have imagined to be the turning point of the tournament arrives at 17. Nelly Korda signs a heavy triple bogey on this par 4 while his opponent concedes only one blow in the hole with a bogey. Two blows separate the two women in favor of the elder. At the same time, two players signed the mark of -17 at the club house: Lydia Ko and Sei Young Kim.

Lexi Thompson therefore needs a par on the 72nd hole to win. The Pelican Women's Championship will once again award its share of suspense. Lexi Thompson ends her turn with a new bogey, Nelly Korda takes the opportunity to grab the play-off with a final birdie. The two women finish at -17 and will play a playoff with Lydia Ko and Sei Young Kim.

The four players therefore set off on hole number 1.  The world number 1 is the only one to score a birdie on this hole. She therefore won at the end of the suspense this Pelican Women's Championship in Florida.
