In this unprecedented context, Bluegreen, promoter of the tournament, in agreement with the European Challenge Tour and with the support of the French Golf Federation, have decided to cancel the 2020 Brittany Open. This decision has been under consideration for several years. weeks, following the deterioration of the health environment in France in particular. Today, health must be everyone's priority, and the conditions for this event to be held in complete safety are not met.

The development prospects, which are currently very uncertain, of the pandemic in multiple territories do not guarantee the presence of all international athletes.

The economic context, in a particularly evolving situation, does not allow to calmly consider the continuation of the preparations related to the organization. Although several partners have assured the organizers of their support for this 2020 edition, the overall situation remains delicate and the priority for many companies for the current year will remain the survival and maintenance of their activity.

This is why, faced with all these important uncertainties hanging over the organization, Bluegreen and the French Golf Federation wished to make the wisest decision possible. The focus is now on the development of the next edition, scheduled for the beginning of September 2021!
