The NordicTrack Open in Strasbourg ended this Saturday at the Strasbourg Golf Club, which this week hosted a Ladies European Tour Access Series event for the third consecutive year.

The tournament was a real success with exceptional weather conditions all week. The players as well as the Strasbourg public were also able to appreciate the products put forward by the world leader in home-fitness, new partner of the event.

At the end of the 2nd round, 48 players including 6 amateurs had passed the cut, and were competing for precious points for the ranking of the second European division, while there are only 3 tournaments left this season.

After a duel of exceptional intensity with the English Kiran MATHARU, the Finnish Sanna NUUTINEN, author of a card of 67 (-5) devoid of any bogey, won this first Nordictrack Open in Strasbourg (-12 in total of the three turns).

The Finnish, 7th in 2014 and 4th in 2015, seems to particularly appreciate the superb course of the Golf Club of Strasbourg, and succeeds the Prize list to another Finnish: Oona VARTIAINEN.

The experienced Camille FALLAY-MASSONNEAU is also on the podium! With a final card of 70 (-2), the Golf de Joyenval player demonstrated her strong reaction capacity this Saturday by signing six birdies.

Frenchwoman Astrid VAYSON DE PRADENNE, leading after the 1st lap, shares 4th place with Luna SOBRON. The Spanish neo-proette scores many points this week that allow her to hope to finish the season in the Top 5 of the Ladies European Tour Access Series.

Emilie ALONSO, 9th in the order of merit with the tournament, wins important points with her beautiful 6th place this week, tied with the Italian Lucrezia COLOMBOTTO ROSSO.

Emma GRECHI finishes best amateur (12th) with 5 shots under par, a unit in front of Lou VRAI (15th).

The young Franco-Swiss amateur Tiffany ARAFI also signs a beautiful 19th place.

As for the other tricolors, Alexandra BONETTI made a good comeback in the ranking (20th), Camille CHEVALIER (22nd), Marie FOURQUIER (25th), Marion DUVERNAY (33rd), Julie AIME (38th), Rebecca WALLACE (42nd) and Flora PEUCH (46e)
