The first edition of the NordicTrack Open in Strasbourg began this Thursday at the Golf Club of Strasbourg, host of a test of the Ladies European Tour Access Series for the 3e consecutive year.

The 99 players representing 24 nationalities enjoyed themselves today on the magnificent course of the Golf Club of Strasbourg. With 29 players under par, there are still many who can claim the final victory.

Among them, we find at the top of the leaderboard the French Astrid VAYSON DE PRADENNE.

With a card of 66 or (-6), the 30-year-old proette, also a physiotherapist, can hope to relish the joys of victory this week, she who won her first victory as a professional at the Open last April Arcachon.

The Swedish Emma NILSSON, who nevertheless made 9 birdies during this first round, is one stroke behind the player from Châteauneuf-du-Pape (-5).

Five players share 3rd place 4 shots under par, including Scottish Michele THOMSON, 5e provisional ranking of the LET Access Series.

The day was also marked by the good performances of the French players. After this first round, 15 French women are currently in the cut!

Camille FALLAY and the amateurs Lou VRAIN and Emma GRECHI are tied for 8th in (-3) while Julie AIME and Marion DUVERNAY integrate the provisional Top 15 with the score of (-2).

Emilie ALONSO, first Frenchwoman in the classification of the 2nd European division (9e), is in the par after this first round, a better move than the provisional cut fixed at (+1), which will qualify the 40 best players (more tied and amateurs) for a 3rd and last round this Saturday.
