Capable of measuring a distance of up to 590 meters, the COOLSHOT 40 and COOLSHOT 40i rangefinders are of unprecedented lightness.

The COOLSHOT 40 rangefinder is designed exclusively for measuring the real distance and can be used during competitions authorizing the use of a laser rangefinder.

The COOLSHOT 40i rangefinder incorporates slope compensation, which indicates the actual compensated distance (horizontal distance ± height). It is therefore particularly suitable for hilly golf courses.

Packed with features, the Nikon COOLSHOT 40 and 40i rangefinders are compact, light, rain resistant and easy to use. They both have a high-quality 6x viewfinder with multilayer processing that provides clear and bright images. Closest Target Priority Mode measures the distance to a flag on terrain with trees in the background. Thanks to Nikon's HYPER READ technology, the measured distance is instantly displayed (approximately 0,5 s), regardless of your distance from the target. So you can stay focused on your game.
