The Ladies European Tour is packing its bags this week in Italy for the Ladies Italian Open at Golf Club Margara. Nine French women will participate. Defending champion Lucie Malchirand will however be absent from this tournament.
The players of the Ladies European Tour stop this week in Italy for the Ladies Italian Open. This par 72 of 5656 meters will welcome players over three laps for a total prize money of €200.
We all remember the beautiful story written in 2021 by Lucie Malchirand during this Ladies Italian Open, where she had won her first victory in a professional tournament while still an amateur player. At only 18, she had the guts to birdie two of her last two holes to win and lift this trophy in Italy. Having turned professional since this coronation, the young Frenchwoman is installed on the Ladies European Tour, a circuit where she has signed for the moment in 2022, a top 15 and a top 30.
