Just days after his election at the head of the French Golf Federation, Pascal Grizot announced this morning, during a virtual press conference, the launch of the 1st National Golf Week. New to the galaxy of golf events, National Golf Week has been touted as "THE great golf party".

A great party which will take place at the Golf National, used to major events. Host of the last Ryder Cup, future site for the Olympic golf events in 2024 as well as the 2022 Amateur World Championships, the Golf National, inaugurated in 1990, has become obvious.

This is obvious for Pascal Grizot but also for Charles-Henri Bachelier and Antoine Robin, respectively founder of Versicolor Sports and golf # together who are entrusted with the overall organization of National Golf Week. This responsibility goes hand in hand with the relocation and full integration of the Mondial du Golf into National Golf Week.

For three days, the standard of French golf will offer all enthusiasts:

• A "big show" of golf over more than 3000 m2 where many exhibitors will take place.
• Club trials at the driving range, putting green and chipping zone
• Putting, chipping and driving competitions
• Conferences open to the public
• Three competitions reserved for amateurs on the course of the Eagle
• Two pro-ams on the Albatross

The icing on the cake, National Golf Week has included in its rich program an alliance competition (association of a professional player with an amateur player), the National Match Play. Played, as its name suggests, in the spectacular match play formula, this event will be played on April 1 and 2 on 6 legendary holes of the Albatross (1-2-15-16-17-18) and will bring together some of the best French players.

An unmissable event for golf fans, National Golf Week will also give pride of place to discovering golf. Initiations and demonstrations will be organized on site. They reflect the very strong ambition of the ffgolf to seduce the French at a time when the aspirations of the latter perfectly match what our discipline can offer them.

The price is set at 15 € per day to access all the activities. The ffgolf licensees will benefit from a special rate set at only € 10 per day. 2 and 3 day packs will also be marketed.

Note that two “Business days” will also be organized on March 30 and 31, notably with the now traditional Golf Trophies evening (5th edition) broadcast live on Golf +. Julien Benneteau will be the president of the Jury.
