The French get off to a flying start in this new edition of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France in Deauville. After the first round, four French women place themselves in the top 5. The best of them this Thursday is Nastasia Nadaud who returns a card of 65 (-6) to take the lead in the standings. Two strokes behind her, we find Anne-Lise Caudal in good shape at the moment after her top 15 in Switzerland last week, Céline Boutier the defending champion and Anais Meyssonnier, all three at -4.

The Lacoste Ladies Open de France is back this week and after four years spent at the Médoc golf course, the players of the Ladies European Tour will compete at the French Open on the Golf Barrière de Deauville course. After the first round of our National Ladies Open, a Frenchwoman is in the lead! Nastasia Nadaud made it clear on this first day with a card of 65 (-6), six birdies and no bogeys.

Meghan MacLaren (ANG) and Ines Laklalech equalized her mark of -6 in the afternoon games.

Two strokes behind them, there are three other tricolors: Anne-Lise Caudal, Anais Meyssonnier and Céline Boutier.

With two bogeys for three birdies and especially an eagle, Nadaud returned to the clubhouse with a card of 67 (-4) to temporarily take second place! She was then overtaken by two players in the afternoon.

Anais Meyssonnier signs a card without a hitch with fourteen pars and four birdies: 67 (-4).

It is also the score of the French number 1 and defending champion Céline Boutier, 67 (-4), a card which allows her to place herself in the right car to defend her title.
