Each year, the Open Days of the Artist Workshops are a key moment in the cultural life of Montreuil. For the 20th edition, 660 artists will welcome the people of Montreuil and all lovers of the arts of Île-de-France in 260 individual or collective workshops as well as cultural venues and partner companies.

The multiplicity of disciplines represented testifies to the legendary artistic vitality of Montreuil. Painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving, mosaic, photography, textile, earth and ceramic, paper, glass, mobiles, illustration and graphics, screen printing, video, digital, installations ... not to mention styling, jewelry creation, design or architecture ...

Artists from all these disciplines will be present in their creative space to exchange and present their work. As every year, many openings, performances and events will punctuate these days of Friday 12, Saturday 13, Sunday 14 and Monday 15 October. Four days that will bring Montreuil's cultural motto to life: “Montreuil, arts and cultures in freedom! "

This initiative coordinated by the City of Montreuil gives established and emerging artists the opportunity to meet the public, and promotes decompartmentalization between audiences, but also between disciplines and practices.

Through this political will to support all artists, Montreuil affirms a global project whose objective is to promote and promote creation while facilitating its access to the greatest number by ensuring to attract new audiences, often far from cultural devices. classic or contemporary.

During the Open Days, the Tignous Contemporary Art Center will become the public reception and information point and will remain open for four days from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m. Visitors can find information or suggested routes there. Of course, the exhibition spaces of the Tignous Contemporary Art Center will be open with: The agents are created ”, an exhibition bringing together artists from Montreuil proposed by Mathilde Ayoub.
