Mizuno: New generation of the JPX 850 driver
In 2007, Mizuno introduced the 1st sliding weight system called Fast Track for playing on fade and draw. 7 years later, Mizuno has pushed the system even further to adjust the spin and the ball height!
All these adjustments make the JPX 850 a driver capable of adapting to all swing speeds to offer maximum distance.
The bright blue JPX-850 made its appearance on the Tour in April 2014. It uses two 8-gram weights which can be placed either on the sliding central rail or in two side slots. The 10 different settings allow any player, whatever their head speed, to get a perfect launch and spin.
This solution, combined with Mizuno's Quick Switch system, allows the JPX-850 to offer lofts ranging from 7,5 to 11,5 in a single head. The ultimate in adaptability.
The bright blue head of the JPX-850 is a compact and powerful 440 cc head, which uses a "Hot Metal" face and a contoured crown to maximize ball speed.
« What's great about the new Fast Track system is that it adds the dimension of launch angle and spin speed. Now you can really maximize all the parameters of the ball trajectory for the tee shots. " Chuck Couch, Product manager
