Enriched with boron, JPX EZ irons are a revolution in distance and tolerance for Mizuno Grain Flow Forged irons. Enjoy moments #nothingfeelslikamizuno without being heavily penalized by an occasional miss. Ideal for players with medium or high handicap or for professionals who do not really like to train.

20151119_Mizuno_JPXEZ_01New steel enriched with boron

The very solidity of the steel enriched in boron allows to realize, by numerical control, a larger pocket-shaped cavity (from iron 3 to iron 7), in order to increase the rebound zone and therefore the ball speed and the stability of off-center hits.

Don't let go of a centimeter

All the sensations from Mizuno know-how in forging are preserved without any loss of distance. The combination of a CNC milled pocket and a multi-thickness face (which is made possible by boron) makes the JPX EZ the most requested irons that Mizuno has never produced.

Forged can be tolerant

Their pocket-shaped cavity milled by digital control combined with peripheral ballasting make the JPX EZ of a disconcerting tolerance.

Forged in Hiroshima, Japan, for unrivaled sensations

Precise distance control

The Grain Flow Forged process allows to concentrate and maintain a constant grain from the neck to the hosel, which ensures the homogeneity of each club head for predictable distances.

Sliding on the lawn

A slightly bevelled leading edge and a clean cut trailing edge allow EZ Forged irons to enter and exit the lawn with minimal interference.

Short irons accuracy

Although the JPX EZ Forged is more tolerant where it is necessary (especially on long irons), the irons from 8 to Pitch are strong monoblocks and more compact than their predecessors.

Black Nickel finish

It is an anti-shine coating that will hold and soften over time. Please see the care instructions for Giz Flow Forged Mizuno.

Tailor-made for the DNA of your Swing.

Mizuno's Swing DNA system can assess which shaft and which series will perform best on your own swing. Your irons can be assembled and shipped within 5 working days of receiving your order at Mizuno (for regions and parts permitting).

Combines with: The medium-sized Grain Flow Forged S5 wedges, introduced by Luke Donald and assembled to adapt to the characteristics of your irons, available in IP blue or White Satin.

Best ball: Combines well with the MP-S, the softest Mizuno ball for medium to high swing speeds, achieving perfection in touch and spin on approach shots.

“The greatest success on the JPX EZ Forged, from a technical point of view, is not the speed of the ball or the tolerance. For us, it's the sensation. It is very difficult to keep this moment of impact in mind when pushing as many manufacturing parameters as possible. It was a few small touches, such as strengthening the structure of the cavity or returning to a multi-layer face, that made the difference. It's unbelievable the number of manufacturing possibilities that presented themselves to us once we switched to boron-enriched steel. "  David Llewellyn - Design Manager
