The Japanese firm has achieved a real tour de force with the new JPX 921 series available in four versions, Forged, Hot Metal, Hot Metal Pro and Tour. With the most complex face geometry ever designed, the JPX 921 delivers more face energy at impact for never-before-seen ball speeds.

The biggest change is on the JPX921 Forged, which incorporates the Chromoly 4120 that we first saw on the previous Hot Metal model in a full wrought iron The hollow one-piece Chromoly 4120 realization of the new MIZUNO JPX921 series Forged, increases the speed of exit of your ball thanks to a thinner face. Heads with an elegant look more compact than the previous version, with a thinner top line, and the bevelled rear edge with less offset further increases its stability: these Grain Flow irons, offer the softness to the touch specific to Mizuno and especially fastest bullet speeds Mizuno has ever produced from a complete wrought iron.

Mizuno JPX921 Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro

The easiest-to-play JPX921 Hot Metal irons combine the fastest ball speeds ever achieved by Mizuno with controllable and stable ball flight. The 3rd generation of Mizuno irons to use the resilience of Chromoly - the JPX921 features the most complex face geometry ever achieved for extra energy returned by the clubface on impact.

Choose the more Pro version for an even more compact profile with a reduced offset.

Mizuno JPX 921: forged in excellenceHighlights:

  • The JPX921 Hot Metal is the 3rd generation of Mizuno to use Chromoly - R&D generally accepts that any new technology requires 3 generations to achieve near maximum performance.
  • Chromoly 4140M. produces 0.5mm thicker face for higher peak and average bullet speed, from a fully wrought iron.
  • The CORTECH face has been redesigned and is now 0,2mm thinner in the center. Seamless Cutting Face: A new variable thickness sole design allows the leading edge to act as a hinge, resulting in greater face flexibility and faster ball speed.
  • CNC rear machining: 6.4% wider groove back machining improves stability on off-center hits, with a smaller club head
  • Stabilizing frame: Added weight at the perimeter with a point ballast for more stability on off-center hits
  • Hot Metal "Pro" version  : More compact option with reduced offset. Pearl brush finish: Anti-reflective to minimize distractions at https://twitter.com/MizunoGolfEU/status/1330872152866906112? S = 20
