Lydia Ko leads the Rolex Annika Major Award, Brooke Henderson 2e
The Rolex Annika Major Award goes to the player who, during one LPGA season, shows the best performances in the five Major tournaments.
Points will be awarded over the five Grand Slam tournaments to competitors who finish in the top 10. To win the prize, the player must also win at least one of the five adults.
The winner of the Rolex Major ANNIKA Prize will be announced at a ceremony at the Evian Championship, completing what promises to be an exciting season of majors in 2016.
The distribution of points for players who have met the award criteria is as follows: 1st place - 60 pts .; 2nd place - 24 pts .; 3rd place - 18 pts .; 4th place - 14 pts .; 5th place - 12 pts .; 6th place - 10 pts .; 7th place - 8 pts .; 8th place - 6 pts .; 9th place - 4 pts .; 10th place - 2 pts.
Note: This is the same points distribution used during the Major Championships for the player of the year.
