Camille Chevalier and Agathe Sauzon managed to get their ticket for the second qualifying round at the LPGA Tour 2018 on Sunday.

At the end of the first session, which had been held since Thursday on the courses of Rancho Mirage (California), the two French women managed to take place among the first 90 out of nearly 400 competitors. Ideally placed after three laps (22nd), Chevalier did not tremble on Sunday despite a card of 74 (+2). With two birdies for four bogeys on the Dinah Shore course, the Aix Marseille player finally finished in 31st place in these qualifiers' (-3).

Rising to 100th row on Saturday, after two complicated first laps, Agathe Sauzon continued its momentum on Sunday with a second card under Par. Author of four birdies for two bogeys (70, -2), the Valentinoise ends her week in 60th place (+1) and will also play the second qualifying session in Venice (Florida) from October 2 to 16.

Very well started on Thursday with a first lap in 68 (-4), Anaelle Carnet did not manage to repeat the performance on the following three laps. Falling back to 100th place on Saturday night, the 23-year-old again conceded five bogeys in the last round for a card of 77 (+5). She finally finished in 126th place (+8) and will not see the second qualifying round.
