LPGA: time for recovery
After crowning Jin Young Ko in 2021, the LPGA Tour and Race To CME Globe return to action this week at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Defending champion Jessica Korda will try to keep her trophy at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club.
As with its male counterpart the PGA Tour, the LPGA Tour begins its season with the Tournament of Champions. Jessica Korda will try to defend her title this year against the other champions of the LPGA Tour. We all remember his superb putt in from more than 7 meters, on the first play-off hole, allowing him to win against his compatriot and partner in the Solheim Cup, Danielle Kang.

For this fourth edition of the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, the players will return to the Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Orlando, Florida and will play for a prize pool of $1.500.000. This par 72 of 6 meters was also host to the first Solheim Cup in 645.
The field of player is composed of 29 players, among them, a Frenchwoman: Céline Boutier.
Winner of the SHOPRITE LPGA CLASSIC Presented by ACER in 2021, Céline Boutier is therefore taking part in the 2022 Champions Tournament. We recall that our 28th player in the world also performed well during the last tournament of the 2021 LPGA Tour season with a third place at the CME Group Tour Championship.
