Three French women are on the starting tee of the Ladies Scottish Open, Céline Boutier, Céline Herbin and Camille Chevalier. The LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour co-sanctioned tournament takes place in North Berwick from August 13-16.

The Ladies Scotish Open 2020 started this Thursday with two hours of delay due to the fog, forcing the competitors to wait a little longer, for the resumption of their season at the Renaissance Golf Club, in North Berwick.

Although she got up at 3:25 am to prepare for her first round, Julia Engstrom, leader of The Race to Costa Del Sol, started her day well with a birdie on the par 4 of hole 1, before being surpassed by Spaniard Azahara Munoz who with a superb 7 iron on his second stroke at 150 meters achieves an eagle to quickly take the lead at the top of the provisional classification.

The competition will be very present, despite the absence of many South Korean players including world numbers 1 and 3, with Jin Young Ko and Sung hyun Park.
