The LPGA welcomes a new “Drive On” event to its calendar this week, the LPGA Drive On Championship at Crown Colony. This will be the opportunity for Agathe Laisné to make her first start on the LPGA Tour. She will be accompanied by three other French women: Céline Boutier, Perrine Delacour and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard.

For the third tournament of the year, the Crown Colony Golf & Country Club will host the LPGA Tour. This “Drive On” tournament in Florida will be a great first and offers players a prize pool of $1.500.000. The competition will be played over 54 holes on a par 72 of 6526 yards. Four French women will be there in Fort Myers: Céline Boutier, Perrine Delacour, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Agathe Laisné.

The LPGA Drive On Championship tournament series was created during the Pandemic period, to support resilience on the Tour.

Céline Boutier remains on three top 5 ranks on the LPGA Tour and reached, thanks to her good result last week, her best world ranking. She is now 21st in the Rolex Rankings. With her current good form, the winner of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France appears to be a contender for victory this week.

Perrine Delacour will also be there after starting her season with a 34th place finish at the GAINBRIDGE LPGA AT BOCA RIO.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard also reached her best position in the world rankings last week. Thanks to her 18th place in her first LPGA Tour tournament, she is now 201st in the world. We hope for a result as brilliant for our young French this week, as on the course of Boca Rio.

The last Frenchwoman engaged in Fort Myers is Agathe Laisné. It will be her first on the LPGA Tour, she who had obtained her right to play during the Qualifying School Series, just like Pauline Roussin-Bouchard. Winner of two LETAS tournaments, this is the beginning of a great adventure for the former player from the University of Texas.
