The professional women's golf circuit (LPGA) events will have a record $ 75,1 million (€ 68,1 million) in 2020, the LPGA announced on Friday.

"A total endowment of $ 75,1 million. This number shows the support we receive from sponsors and partners around the world. ”said Tour commissioner Mike Whan when announcing the schedule for the upcoming season in Naples, Florida.

The 2019 LPGA Tour's endowment was $ 70 million, so players will benefit from an increase in earnings of $ 5,1 million over one year.

In 2020, the calendar will include 33 events played in 11 countries, with two new tournaments, the Gainbridge LPGA in Boca Raton, Florida and the Pelican Women's Championship in Belleair, again Florida.

The first Grand Slam tournament, the ANA Inspiration, is scheduled for April 2-5 in Rancho Mirage (California). The Evian Championship, the 4th major meeting of the year, will take place from July 23 to 26 on the shores of Lake Geneva.
