This partnership, articulated around numerous actions, perfectly echoes the ambitions of putting the Evian Championship platform at the service of young talents to best support them in their sporting practice and promote the emergence of champions. Beyond the opportunity given to the best amateurs under 18 to play on the course of the Evian Resort Golf Club in Major conditions, the Evian Junior Event labeled AJGA will make it possible to constitute a Team France made up of the Top 8 at the end of the test (the first 6 boys and the first 2 girls). This Team France, supervised by the French Golf Federation, will be qualified to participate in the Evian International & Senior Showcase in Las Vegas (December 8-10, 2017).

Boost your career

This AJGA final takes place in front of the greatest university coaches and offers the amateur elite maximum exposure to join the golf team of an American university. “This partnership with AJGA is a great opportunity for young French talents. Playing the Evian Championship course and then, for the 8 selected, competing against the American elite and having the chance to be spotted by the coaches of major American universities, it is an experience that I would have dreamed of living . An incredible springboard to boost your sports career ” recognizes Sébastien Gros, ambassador of the Evian Resort. Another part of this partnership, a wildcard to enter the field of the Evian Championship 2017 will be awarded to the Rolex Girls Junior Player of the Year. "We are delighted and honored to be partners of AGJA" declares Franck Riboud, president of the Evian Championship. “The AJGA's mission is in perfect harmony with the policy undertaken by the Evian Resort and the Evian Championship to promote the development of the next generation of golfers. We are convinced that the future of golf depends on these young players already at the gates of success ”.

Federal strategy

Jean-Lou Charon, president of ffgolf, is delighted with this initiative with which he wished to associate the federation. He explains the reasons: “This approach fits perfectly into the federal strategy. For several years, we have been implementing measures whose objective is to allow our elite to confront themselves at the highest international level and to progress through contact. The Evian Junior Event contributes to this ambition. The Federation is very happy to support it by supervising the young people who will have won the right to compete in the Evian International & Senior Showcase and to be observed by the best university coaches ”.
