Saudi Arabia has become renowned for its ability to cross the boundaries of sport, a trend that continues with the announcement today of a new Ladies European Tour (LET) event that will take place at the Royal Greens Golf & Jeddah Country Club from March 19 to 22, 2020. The tournament, which will be endowed with a US $ 1 million fund, will be organized in collaboration with Golf Saudi and the Saudi Golf Federation.

This event will mark a decisive turning point for the country and will mark the first time that professional golfers will participate in competitions in Saudi Arabia, thus opening up new perspectives as part of its continuous transformation under Vision 2030.

The 72-hole competition, which will be broadcast nationally and to more than 340 million homes in more than 55 countries around the world, will inspire a new generation of female golfers across the Kingdom. A group of 108 LET professionals will compete for one of the richest prizes in the LET program at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club near Jeddah on the country's beautiful Red Sea coast.
