During his tenure, Mark Lichtenhein oversaw a complete overhaul of LET governance to align with best practice in the sports industry, reinvigorated the LET business agenda and led a strategic review of LET activities .

Mark Lichtenhein has also played a central role in introducing new tournaments at LET. These include new LET and LET Access Series events in Spain, France and the Czech Republic in 2019, as well as new formats presented this year at the Jordan Mixed Open presented by Ayla with the Challenge Tour and the Staysure Tour, finally under the lights of Dubai with the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic.

The Board of Directors will now begin a recruitment process for Mark Lichtenhein's successor and has appointed the company SRI in London to support this recruitment. In the meantime, Alexandra Armas will take over the general management of LET from October 1, 2019.
