This is her first victory since turning pro two years ago and the 21-year-old was delighted with her victory at Aartselaar:

“I can't explain it to you right now. It's incredible. My dad was a professional cyclist and he won a couple of competitions and now I've done the same - so it's crazy! That says everything. I am so happy that I want to cry! "

Grechi performed well at the Jabra Ladies Open in May, finishing T12 in both the Ladies European Tour and LET Access Series double events, which gave him the confidence to continue on the path to a higher ranking on the Tour. :

“I had a good competition in Evian so I saw that I could be in the top 5. And I've tried to do my best since then, and this week was amazing. "

The French star has been comfortable on the greens throughout the event and came under crucial pressure at critical points on the tour where other players struggled on the final day. Grechi, who also plays on the Ladies European Tour, thanked his coach for his wise words ahead of his victory:

“I think my putting was really good this week. My driving game was not that good, but I put in a few good putts, so you birdies more and it's easier. It was very hard on the back nine because my driving game was very hard, and I was a little scared. But I was focused on what to do and what my coach said this morning. He told me to play well and have fun. If you are happy to play, you will play well! "

Samantha Giles, leader of the day before, fell back in the last round with a 75 (+3), leaving the young athlete of 24 years to (-3) on the whole tournament. Despite a tough final at Cleydael, Giles will be optimistic for the future after finishing in the top 5 just two weeks after returning from a serious surf injury.

Three players were tied for second place, three strokes behind Grechi at (-4). Laura Gomez Ruiz, who won the title last week at the Montauban Ladies Open, put in another excellent performance on the Tour, with a final of 70, capping another great week for the Spaniard.

Experienced Scottish Jane Turner climbed ten places from her T12 in the 2nd round, with 69 (-3) on the final day to go four under par over the entire tournament, while Moroccan amateur Ines Laklelech took once again showed that she is a force to be reckoned with on the LET Access Series circuit with a third lap under par this Saturday.

Next week, the LET Access Series will travel to Brittany, France for the Saint Malo Golf Mixed Open, which will feature players from the LET Access Series and players from the Alps Tour. There are very few events of this nature in golf, the pioneering event offering an endowment of € 45.000 to players from both Tours.
