The first course in France installed above 1 meters above sea level, the Méribel golf course was born in 500 from the will of Peter Lindsay, who was also at the origin of the Méribel resort in 1966. This Scottish man in love with the mountain and golf enthusiast aimed to create a resort that would live as well in winter as in summer. He therefore thought of a golf course which had only 1938 holes at the start, and which has 4 today.

The Méribel green is located at an altitude of more than 1 meters and covers 500 hectares. Built on hilly terrain, it is dotted with many natural and sporting elements with demanding technical characteristics.

The Méribel route winds along the wooded slopes dominated by the Dent de Burgin, a legendary mountain in the Valley, along the Altiport from the Rhodos to Chantemouche, over more than 250 meters of vertical drop. It offers 18 holes, par 71, over a length of 5 meters. Each hole offers breathtaking panoramas that are renewed and changing with the seasons.

To learn or improve the practice of golf, the Méribel green offers a training area made up of 1m100 of putting green, a chipping green, a practice with 2 stations including 40 covered, and 'a bunker.

Open from June to November (depending on weather conditions), this exceptional green is a delight for top golfers and offers both an ideal setting for beginners.

Golf courses

The Pro Golf school offers golf courses, from beginners to experts. The duration of the internships varies from 1 to 5 days, at a rate of 2 to 5 hours per day. Focused on competition, pleasure and well-being, they take place in an exceptional setting and are aimed at the greatest number of people (adults, children, seniors). The training method, fun and innovative, consists of training entirely on the course. This teaching technique, coupled with the personalization of coaching, allows trainees to make rapid progress. The number of people is deliberately reduced (from 2 to 6 participants) to allow this adaptation of the training. It covers all the techniques of golf, from swing to putting, through bunker exits… In addition to this technical part, the courses offered also cover the tactical and mental aspect of the discipline.

Baby golf

The Pro Golf school also offers private lessons for children from 3 years old. Through a fun and age-appropriate learning method, children learn the basics of golf, using mini-clubs and foam balls. The one hour lesson takes place with games that build the learning of the game of golf by developing the motor, physical and mental qualities of the little ones.
