For those who appreciate a perfectly maintained lawn but who prefer to devote their free time to other passions than mowing, John Deere has invented for us: the TANGO E5 robot, completely autonomous, with exceptional mowing performance.

The concept is very simple: a buried peripheral cable delimits the contours of the surface to be mowed. In this space thus defined, the TANGO E5 mows the lawn randomly over pre-defined time slots. As soon as the robot touches an obstacle or approaches the buried cable, it automatically changes direction. It is therefore particularly comfortable in landscaped areas with beds, trees and shrubs.

The John Deere dealer defines with the user the schedule according to his requirements. If necessary, the owner of the machine can easily change this program using a screen on the mower, which is particularly simple and intuitive.

The TANGO E5 recharges its lithium-ion battery on its own, automatically returning to the charging station when it detects that the level is low. Once fully charged, the machine immediately resumes the mowing program, without intervention by the owner.

As the TANGO E5 has a mulching function, the cut grass is recycled into the lawn, which reduces the amount of fertilizer needed for regular growth.

Thanks to its very low noise level, the TANGO E5 robotic lawnmower can operate at night. Its unique double hull design fully protects the blade, motor and electronics from the elements.

The TANGO E5 robot is equipped with a powerful electric motor and large diameter wheels ensuring optimal traction on slopes and on hilly terrain.

Easy to adjust, the cutting height can range from 19 to 102 mm.

This lightweight robotic lawnmower can be easily handled and transported, if needed. For safe handling and use, the blade stops immediately when the machine is turned over or raised from the ground.
