The friends of the artists set up, in a surge of solidarity, a project to support artistic creation and help artists during this crisis they are going through.

Friends of Artists: The art of being united

Friends of Artists

“We are a collective of actors in the art field LES AMIS DES ARTISTES, from varied and complementary backgrounds. We wish to solicit the engagement of collectors from our networks with artists and to establish a system of solidarity between artists. To initiate this virtuous circle, we created a label and wrote a charter which specifies the operating rules of this label. "

The dedicated site: http://www.lesamisdesartistes.com

“Its modus operandi is simple. During the period of health crisis, in agreement with his gallery, if he is represented by a gallery, the artist, involved in this project, puts up for sale through his own social networks, at most 3 works ( including one sold for less than € 500) on which our label will be associated by an additional or associated post. In the event of a sale, 70% of the sale price will be paid directly to him by the buyer, the remaining 30% will be collected by a solidarity kitty on the Leetchi site for the exclusive benefit of an association ensuring their distribution to other artists.

Each artist is also invited to call on other artists to participate in this project, open to all, so that it becomes viral.

For the first #lesamisdesartistes operation, we are happy to pay the entire solidarity collection as soon as it reaches € 4 for the benefit of the Support Fund of the Antoine de Galbert Foundation www.leetchi.com/c/lesamis desartistes-adg which donates it to the collective of artists he wishes to support. Subsequently other associations will take over. In view of what we are experiencing, engaging in such a project that brings art to life seems to us to be in perfect resonance with the values of solidarity, action and responsible citizenship which are dear to us ”
