On the Wilshire Country Club, it is the American Alison Lee who leads the dance with a card of 66 (-5). She signs five birdies for no error and shone with her putting with only 25 putts (she only takes 67% of the green in regulation). Alison Lee is one step ahead of the trio Nasa Hataoka, Emily Kristine Pedersen and Emma Talley, all three returned a card of 67 (-4). The Japanese Nasa Hataoka even signed seven birdies during her game, unfortunately marred by three bogeys.

The scores of our blues

The first French women rank 11th at -2. Starting from tee 10, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard spent her first leg at -2 with three birdies for a bogey. She will play par on the return for a card of 69 (-2). The rookie signs a solid game with 83% of greens in regulation: we hope that more putts will end up in the hole for the end of the tournament.

Celine Boutier also returns a card of 69 (-2). With three bogeys for a single birdie on her first three holes, the French number 1 started the machine on the 6th with a birdie, followed by one on the 8th, 12th, then 17th. She therefore ranks 11th.

Perrine Delacour returns a card of 73 (+2) during this first round. Starting from 10, she spent her first nine holes in -1, before signing two bogeys and a double bogey, against a single birdie on her return. She ranks 64th, within the limit of the provisional CUT.

Agathe Laisné ranks one shot behind Perrine Delacour in 83rd position. With only 50% of greens in regulation, Agathe Laisné signs a birdie for four bogeys and therefore a card of 74 (+3).
