The competition takes place throughout the year in various partner clubs, and whose proceeds (playing rights, donations, sale of tombola and mulligan tickets, sponsors) are donated to the Philippe Chatrier Foundation for its research work. .

This competition has found its place in the register of perennial sporting and charitable events, which some now call "the Chatrier" or even "the TPC"!

The Steering Committee of the Philippe Chatrier Trophy provides partner clubs with a user manual intended to facilitate its organization and respect the rules of the competition.

The Philippe Chatrier Trophy is always generously endowed thanks to loyal sponsors, awarding various types of prizes (at the discretion of partner golf clubs and organizers): gross prizes, net prizes, women's prizes, youth prizes, draws, etc.

The competition is always played according to the two-person scramble, greensome or "scramble-greensome Chatrier" formula (to speed up the game), at the choice of the partner golf course which graciously hosts the Philippe Chatrier Trophy, and is aimed at participants of all levels. .

The desired green fee is €30 per person. However, each partner golf course can agree on a right of play adapted to the particular conditions of the club (15 € minimum).

Possibilities of "Mulligan(s) Chatrier" can be offered by the organizing clubs to allow the Philippe Chatrier Trophy to strengthen its charitable, fun and friendly spirit! Each player can in fact make a donation to the Philippe Chatrier Foundation for research into Alzheimer's disease by purchasing one or more “mulligan(s)” at the time of registration, with a minimum value of €10 each.

Each team cannot buy more than 4 mulligans. They can be played from hole 1 to hole 18 (i.e. from the first drive on the tee of the last 1 putt on the green of 18).

These “mulligans” are donations, and can thus be the subject of a tax exemption voucher according to the legislation in force.
