Among the famous Nobu restaurants, whose reputation is well established, the Londoner, located on the 1st floor of the Metropolitan by COMO, is the first brand of the famous Japanese chef, Nobu Matsuhisa. Opened in February 1997, in collaboration with partners such as Robert De Niro, the restaurateur Drew Nieporent, and the owner of the hotel, Christina Ong, the address remains a reference in the English capital, and much beyond.

The menu offered within Nobu London is strongly inspired by Japanese tradition, inherited from the classical training of Matsuhisa, Maître Sushis in Tokyo, but also from South American notes, straight from his many trips to the continent. This new style of Japanese cuisine, resolutely innovative, has become its trademark but also the recipe for its success.

With its own entrance on Old Park Lane, the restaurant can seat up to 150 people, and has a sushi bar surrounded by large bay windows, offering breathtaking views of Hyde Park. Designed by "United Designers" with sober elegance, the space reveals a subtle mixture of light woods and natural stones, in order to embody the various influences of Nobu cuisine. With a refined decor and quality materials, the ambience of the restaurant reflects traditional Japanese design.

Nobu London, or Japanese celebrities: “You can tell how much fun a city is going to be if Nobu has a restaurant in it.” Madonna
