Garmin today announced its new multisport connected watch vívoactive HR which now incorporates Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate technology. It collects and analyzes the different activities throughout the day and night: number of steps taken, calories burned, intensity and type of sports activities, sleep analysis, etc.

at any time. Garmin, always looking for technological innovations to improve its products, has set out to offer a connected watch with an autonomy of 8 days in watch mode and activity monitoring (including continuous heart rate monitoring), and up to 'at 13 p.m. in GPS mode.

  • Golf - Users have the possibility of viewing a simplified view of the green, measuring the distance of the strokes and being well oriented thanks to the PinPointer function when they play on one of the 40 courses listed in the world, including the map is available for free download from the Garmin database.

Vívoactive HR receives Smart Notifications from a smartphone1 to report incoming calls, texts, emails, calendar reminders, social media alerts and more. It also integrates other features to allow users to consult the weather forecast, control music on their smartphone, control a VIRB camera, find a lost smartphone and share their activities with loved ones in real time thanks to LiveTrack.

Throughout the day, the vívoactive HR automatically synchronizes with the Garmin Connect Mobile app to offer users a global overview of their activities, follow their workouts, analyze their activities, participate in online challenges with friends and win virtual badges.

Garmin Connect Insights offers directions to help people achieve their goals and congratulatory messages to encourage them, as well as expert health advice.

Compatible with Connect IQ platform, the vívoactive HR offers a number of downloadable customization options. Users can download a variety of free apps, widgets, watch faces to make their watch perfectly suited to their desires.

The vívoactive HR will be available from April at the recommended retail price of € 269,99. To personalize the watch, straps will be available in black, white, intense yellow and bright red at the recommended retail price of € 29,99 each.
