As France prepares to host the legendary Ryder Cup for the first time, the National Sports Museum is offering an event exhibition, accessible free of charge from the reception hall.

From September 28 to 30, the competition most awaited by golf enthusiasts will take place in Saint-Quentin en Yvelines. A unique event with global repercussions, the Ryder Cup takes place every two years and opposes 24 players, divided into two teams, Europe against the United States.

On the occasion of this event, the National Sports Museum is offering from September 5, an exhibition of 100 m2, composed of more than 50 historical objects, explanatory panels and visuals. Produced with the support of the French Golf Federation and lenders, it will be accessible free of charge and will offer visitors the opportunity to discover the history of golf, a discipline that is sometimes unknown, and the specificities of this competition in an original and exciting format. A focus on the Côte d'Azur and its historic routes will complete the route.

Meet at the Heritage Days

The European Heritage Days will take place on September 15 and 16, a completely free cultural event which enabled the National Sports Museum to welcome more than 5 visitors last year. On the occasion of the Ryder Cup, many golf-related events will be offered during the weekend.
