This new award is given as the 41-room hotel completes a major renovation program whose objective is to reaffirm it as one of the most elegant boutique hotels in the North of France for golfers and all those who wish to benefit. of its atmosphere and its unique setting.

The renovation had started with the hotel restaurant: The Manor Table. It reopened its doors in the summer of 2017 and met with immediate success thanks to its bright and spacious dining room highlighted by a contemporary decoration which echoes that of the golf club house.

The transformation of the hotel continues with the renovation of the bar, reception and other common areas, still under the baton of architect Stéphanie Cayet. Once the program is completed in March 2018, the hotel will be in perfect harmony with the history and identity of the Manor as well as the ambition of the whole resort.

"It is easy to understand why our readers appreciate Le Manoir so much"said Kevin Brown, columnist at Today's Golfer. “The evolution of the decoration and the spaces, the warm welcome, the excellent quality / price ratio and its unique location near the club house and the golf course make it a must-see destination for golfers… and let's not forget neither is Le Manoir a stone's throw from two of the best courses in France: La Mer and La Forêt du Touquet. "

He adds : “We understand why Le Manoir is customary for annual awards at the Travel Awards - the popularity and quality of the hotel is undeniable. "

The renovation of the Manor is part of a large investment program at the Touquet Golf Resort. This includes the restoration of the La Mer course, designed by the architects of Colt and Alison in 1931 in the purest tradition of British links, recognized as the best links course in France, and the construction of a new club house in a contemporary style all in wood and glass totally integrated into nature and bathed in light - with a restaurant that has become the most sought after in Le Touquet.

European seaside resort which lived its golden age during the roaring twenties and in the 1930s, Le Touquet remains a legendary destination thanks to its mixture of elegance, style, architecture and its boutiques, bistros and casinos. Le Touquet is also the city where President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte like to spend their weekends: they own a house there.

Le Touquet Golf Resort, part of the Open Golf Club group, is easily accessible from the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and the rest of France, by road and rail. It is less than two and a half hours drive north of Paris on the A16 motorway. The resort is also located very close to Calais-Fréthun train station, served by Eurostar and TGV.
