Last year the Ladies European Tour circuit returned to Belgium for the first time since 1995 and it's the Swede Linn Grant who won against the English Cara Gainer after a fierce battle. The Naxhelet Golf Club, located near the town of Wanze, will once again host the ninth stage of the LET season. This week, 126 players will take part in the hope of being crowned champions of the Belgian Ladies Open 2023.

On the French side, there are ten of them taking the start this morning, Agathe Sauzon, Emie peronnin, Anne-Lise Caudal, Emma Grechi, Nastasia Nadaud, Camille Chevalier, Yvie chaucheprat, Lucie Malchirand, Anne-Charlotte Mora et Charlotte Lautier.

Manon DeRoey, the local favourite, is one of six Belgians who will start this week in the 54-hole stroke play competition. The winner of the individual title at the Aramco Team Series 2022 – Bangkok is joined by another Belgian professional, Leslie cloots, as well as by amateurs Savannah DeBock – a winner of the PING Junior Solheim Cup – Celine Manche, Sophie Bert et Diane Baillieux.

The South African Lee-anne pace, 11-time winner on the LET, will also be looking to add another victory to his impressive record. The champion of the Joburg Ladies Open 2023, the English Lily May Humphreys, is present this week, just like Sheathe, who did so well at this course in 2022.

German Olivia cowan earned an impressive third-place finish in individual competition in Florida last week and hopes to build on that momentum. Louise Duncan, the LET's newest signing, finished tied for seventh at Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach and will be looking to build on that momentum.

It will be the same for the Spaniard Maria Hernandez. The Czech Sara Kouskova, the Australian Kirsten Rudgeley and the South African Casandra Alexander all finished at T10.
