After the triumph of the Thai Atthaya Thitikul at only 18 years old during the 2021 season of the Race To Costa Del Sol, the year 2022 of the Ladies European Tour promises to be a record year.

A few days after the end of the Q-School LET and the promotion of four French women to the first European division, the management of the Ladies European Tour presents the year 2022 as a record year. This new season of the Ladies European Tour will be the busiest tournament year in its forty-four years of history.

LET players will thus be able to participate in thirty-one tournaments in twenty-one different countries. Thanks to the help of historical partners, but also of newcomers, the total endowment for this year 2022 will be 24,5 million euros, a record sum for the European women's circuit.

“After an important 2021 season, with 23 tournaments, 2022 will be a record year for LET with the largest prize pool and the most tournaments in history. Said LET Director Alexandra Armas.

Two new events have been added to the calendar, and eight old LET tournaments are back on the schedule. The visibility of the tour will also be increased with an increase in tournament reruns: 17 tournaments broadcast live, with more than 235 hours of live coverage not counting the major tournaments (Amundi Evian Championship and AIG Women's Open).

The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España will once again host the Grand Final of the Race to Costa Del Sol with a total prize of € 650000.  Bonuses will also be granted to the first three players in the Race To Costa Del Sol ranking: € 125000 for the first, € 75000 for the second and € 50000 for the third, for a total of € 250000 in bonuses.
