The Ladies European Tour and the management of the Creekhouse Ladies Open today confirmed the postponement of the Swedish Open to 2021 due to the current situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19).

For organizers, it's important that the Creekhouse Ladies Open offer an event experience that goes beyond golf, both for the local community and for guests from around the world in the summer seaside town.

The decision to postpone the tournament to Kristianstads Golf Club in Åhus was therefore taken to honor the commitment of the organizers to offer a new exceptional event to all stakeholders, the new date being set for 3-6 June 2021.

Pelle Krüger, CEO of Creekhouse Management, said: “From the start, we have been committed to organizing a great LET event for the actors and all parties involved. This will happen again, but unfortunately not in September given the current situation and its unknown evolution. To give us the possibility of organizing a tournament much closer to our initial objective, we believe, with LET and its partners, that it is preferable for all parties concerned to postpone the event to the start of the 2021 calendar ”.
