The Georges Mauduit Challenge, a charity competition for the French League against Multiple Sclerosis, was created in 2007 by skier Georges Mauduit, Vicechampion of the World of Slalom, in memory of 3 of his champion friends suffering from this disease. The Challenge will stop this year in 9 different golf courses:

  • Golf de la Boulie on May 6
  • Golf de Guerville on May 8
  • the Lyon Golf Club on July 7
  • the Governor's Golf on July 8
  • Golf des Vigiers on July 8
  • Meribel Golf on August 5 and 6
  • Golf d'Arcangues on September 16
  • Valescure Golf on October 14
  • Palmola Golf on October 21

Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that receives little publicity and affects more than 100 people in France, mainly women between 000 and 20 years old. It is the leading cause of non-traumatic disability in young people. To date, there is no curative treatment and research, although very active, therefore requires funding to move forward even faster and give patients hope. The French League against Multiple Sclerosis is also involved on a daily basis in improving the quality of life of people affected by this disease.

Thanks to the generosity of our partners, Fusalp, Skimp, Srixon, Cleveland, Chic des Plantes, Telcapi, the Hotel La Réserve in Saint Jean de Luz, Women's Swing, and Hubert Privé, the players were rewarded for their solidarity gesture.

The Golf de la Boulie donated all the sums collected to the French League against Multiple Sclerosis and Mr. Claude Rozner, General Secretary of the Racing Club de France, was able to give a check in the amount of 3180 euros to Guillaume Molinier, director of the French League against Multiple Sclerosis. A big thank you again to everyone.
