The Pitch & Play agency, a major player in the golf scene, is renewing its commitment to women's golf with the second edition of the tournament. From August 14 to 17, the French stage of the Ladies European Tour Access Series will be back on the mountain fairways of the Golf & Country Club of Bossey, located 10 minutes from Geneva.

The Haut-Savoyard tournament is celebrating its two years worthily with an increase in the field to 132 players, as well as an increase in the prize money to 50 euros.

As a reminder, the first edition was a success, both in sports and media. 78 players present for a prize money of 45 euros. The young Scottish, Jane Turner comes out victorious with a score at -000, over three rounds.

This year, the enthusiasm for the Bossey Ladies Championship is significant. Indeed, more than 22 nationalities will be represented in the tournament: France, Switzerland, England, Spain, Portugal but also South Africa, Swaziland, Iceland, Morocco and Malaysia.

The week will start on Monday, August 13 with an opening night reserved for amateurs and professionals who will play the Official Pro Am the next day. The opportunity to “break the ice” and introduce the players.

The Official Pro Am will have around 26 teams, made up of 3 amateurs, who will occupy the 18 hilly holes all day. A big prize-giving ceremony is organized the same evening, in the gardens of the Golf & Country Club of Bossey, where amateurs can enjoy the local gastronomy in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.

Wednesday August 15 will mark the start of the professional tournament: the 132 players will start, and will stay together for 2 days.

At the end of the second round, only 45 players will have the opportunity to pass the cut, to take the start of the final on Friday August 17th.

The Bossey Ladies Championship is an international tournament, having the particularity of being supported by two great golfing nations: France, with the support of the French Golf Federation, and Switzerland, with the support of the Association Swiss Golf.
In addition, like last year, it will be possible to follow this sporting week LIVE on the Bossey Ladies Championship Facebook. Indeed, Lewis Wallace, pro teacher, will broadcast and comment live on the three rounds. A major digital presence, accompanied by #ladiesfirst and #bosseyladieschampionship.
