Designed by D'Shakil Designs and Studio 5 Design + Architecture, the renovation of the rooms highlights the history of the hotel by emphasizing its retro-glam side with noble materials and luxurious furnishings that harmonize perfectly with the recently renovated main hall.

The main theme emerging from the new room design is the hotel's rich history. Inspired by George Merrick and his love for the natural landscape of South Florida, the newly remodeled spaces echo the foliage green of South Florida, the lush green of the vegetation of Coral Gables and the Mediterranean inspirations of architecture. original property. Rooms and suites feature plum and silver tones with gold accents. The designers chose gemstone chandeliers above the beds, classic moldings, velvet, damask fabric, paintings created from original architectural designs and splendid rugs.

"We are pleased to now offer a hotel with enhanced amenities," said Gene Prescott, CEO of Biltmore. “This historic monument is a treasure of the city of Coral Gables in Miami, and this new design allows us to enhance the retro atmosphere while bringing modernity. We are committed to the renewal of the establishment while maintaining its status as a historic hotel. "

The completely refurbished new Biltmore golf course opened on December 14, 2018. Drawing inspiration from original plans drawn by Donald Ross in 1925 and overseen by golf architect Brian Silva, the layout of the 18-hole par 71 course has been completely changed. The changes include installing Bermuda grass on existing tees, fairways and greens, adding new bunkers, improving the practice short game and separate driving ranges. Brian Silva also created "signature" holes and extended the length of the course to 6,5 kilometers, raising the technical level and allowing the golf course to be considered for a stage of the PGA Tour.

In January 2018, the golf course became the home of the Jim McLean Golf School, considered the best golf school in the USA. For fifty-four consecutive years, the Biltmore has hosted the “Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship” for boys and girls. Many champions have also started their professional careers with the Orange Bowl, including: Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, Sergio Garcia, Rickie Fowler, Mark Calcavecchia, Jim Simon, Gary Koch, Lexi Thompson, Brooke Henderson, In-Bee Park, Grace Park, Christie Kerr, Kelli Booth and Michelle McGann.

As part of this $ 30 million restoration project, the hotel has also renovated its main hall, its 1000 m² fitness center with new Technogym equipment and created a new boutique under the BABOR brand (leader in the skin care industry) within the spa.
