The young Belgian Fanny Cnops wins for the first edition of the Lavaux Ladies Championship. The third and last round was not the easiest for the 47 players at the start. Indeed, the magnificent Lavaux Golf has woken up under a magnificent sun, accompanied by a good winter breeze! A cold, gusty wind which did not fail to destabilize the leaderboard.

Fanny Cnops won this first edition of the Lavaux Ladies Championship with a final card of -7 (71, 66, 72). An absolutely incredible game, and of rare strength, despite the weather conditions of the day. She was welcomed to the green on the 18th by all her friends on the circuit and by the Pitch & Play organizing team, for a little champagne shower of congratulations! Fanny will have shown her great talent this week, and we will not fail to find her soon at the top of a first division leaderboard. That's all we wish for him !

We find at the top of the table, the young Swiss professional, Kim Métraux (-3), who knew how to stay solid despite the weather, accompanied by the French Emie Peronnin and Rachel Raastad.

Big disappointment for Marie Fourquier, who after two fantastic first laps, saw her game collapse under the windstorm of this final, to find herself 17th in the general classification.

A more than positive assessment for the Pitch & Play agency, the Golf de Lavaux and the Montreux Riviera region, which signed the announcement of a second edition, while the tournament was barely ending.

“We couldn't have hoped for better for this first event in this beautiful region! The players were able to take advantage of an entire week designed for them: a fitness room, massages, yoga and cryotherapy at the GolFit center, free fitting throughout the week with True Spec at the practice, softness and protection with Pure Altitude cosmetics,… ” explains Morgane Gaiddon, Event Manager of the tournament, "We wanted to give the players the same conditions as the men so that they give themselves to the maximum, and that they help us to show that the women's golf has its importance".

Pierre-Antoine Missud, the Tournament Director also wanted to highlight the incredible work of the field teams at the Golf de Lavaux; “Despite terrible bad weather in recent weeks, the course maintenance teams have done a remarkable job for the playing conditions of the players. A real challenge for them and we congratulate them ”.

Soon, Bossey Ladies Championship, the second edition organized by Pitch & Play will give us the opportunity to meet its talented players on mountainous fairways. Meet from August 14th to 17th at the magnificent Golf & Country Club of Bossey.
