Impossible to be bored here! For any self-respecting golf enthusiast, it is advisable to show patience to get to the end of the 16 golf courses of Ain. For example, we are starting to set foot in Burgundy near Mâcon and we are emerging on the Swiss side at the gates of Geneva. Between the two, it represents more than 160 km and 2 hours by car. Rest assured, there will never be any question of choosing between the 2 poles of Bressan and Dombiste on one side, Bugiste and Gessien on the other. In the Ain where everything is a question of atmosphere and perspective, we navigate most of the time for inspiration.

In the plain, between the myriad of luminous ponds of the Dombes and the Bressan bocage looking like a green labyrinth, the round of golf always takes place like a pleasant stroll, calm, far from the world, and invariably ends around a good gourmet table. Bresse poultry, faisselle cheese with Bresse cream, smoked carp fillets, frogs cooked like in Dombes, Bressane pie ... the art of living takes on its full meaning and lasts until very late, especially in summer . In his gastronomic landmark, Georges Blanc (3 Michelin stars for 40 years), sets the pace around the flavors of Ain, followed closely by the other prodigies of the stoves.

To the east of the Ain, where the relief rises to open the horizon to spectacular panoramas, the courses offer other play areas, in an ideal mid-mountain setting. Nothing better to disconnect and let go during a weekend and even more. At the foot of the Monts Jura resort and facing Mont Blanc, a few Resorts offer their well-being areas with refinement and elegance, such as Jiva Hill. More mountainous, other areas are within the reach of novice players for friendly and relaxed experiences. Here, in the heart of the Jura Mountains, gastronomy remains at the forefront to honor Bugey wines, PDO Comté and Bleu de Gex cheeses or the traditional recipe of the quenelle with Nantua sauce that can be tasted without count on the edge of the Haut-Bugey lakes.
