This limited edition is built as a tribute to the avant-garde founder of Lacoste, René Lacoste, by reinventing the brand's heritage with a touch of audacity and design, to create a collection fragrance, both timeless and resolutely modern.

If he is known for his tenacity on the court, René Lacoste is even more famous for his polo shirt, which he invented in 1933. He gives it the name of L.12.12: L for Lacoste; 1 for his first choice in fabric, the little pique; 2 for the short sleeve version and 12 for the number of prototypes produced before obtaining the finished product.

The bottle of the limited edition Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 echoes the cut and the elegant simplicity of the polo shirt. Its contours are raised by a stitched mesh, placed on both sides of the bottle. The packaging is lifted by a few touches of fluorescent recalling the lively and graphic beauty of the yellow ball ... And Lacoste gives a new dimension of modernity to its crocodile by declining it in a new fluorescent yellow version to bring a touch of radiance to the the heart of the fragrance.

Behind this new limited edition hides the famous original perfume Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 White. This woody and floral creation, symbol of purity, opens with fresh and green accords of grapefruit, rosemary, cardamom and cedar leaves. These pure and aromatic notes mingle with a masculine and floral heart based on tuberose, ylang-ylang and olibanum. In the background, cedar wood and Georgia wood blend with the freshness of vetiver, to create a classic and elegant fragrance, like the polo shirt from which it is inspired.

On the occasion of the launch of the limited edition Eau de Lacoste L.12.12, Lacoste released a limited edition of the polo shirt, with a neon yellow band on the collar recalling the characteristic color of the famous tennis ball and the details on the bottle perfume.
