Unmissable event on the European women's circuit, the Lacoste Ladies Open de France is offering a prestigious field for its 27th edition. Among the 78 entered, we will follow in particular the American Cristie Kerr, former world No. 1 and recent winner of the Solheim Cup, as well as the last three champions Beth Allen, Céline Herbin and Azahara Muñoz, who also play on the LPGA Tour. .

Two years after her first participation in the Lacoste Ladies Open de France, in which she took 7th place, Cristie Kerr will return to Chantaco. The American star, who will celebrate his 40th birthday on October 12, a few days after the end of the tournament, will honor this 2017 edition with his presence, with the ambition of adding one more trophy to his impressive collection. Crowned 19 times on the LPGA Tour, including twice in Major (US Open 2007, LPGA Championship 2010), the Floridian also won her 20th Solheim Cup on August 6, playing an essential role in the victory of the United States facing Europe in Des Moines (Iowa).

In Saint-Jean-de-Luz, she will cross paths with some of her colleagues on the American circuit, including the last three winners of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France. Beth Allen, crowned last year, Céline Herbin (2015) and Azahara Muñoz (2012 and 2013) all indeed evolve on the other side of the Atlantic. But to the delight of the Basque public, the American, the French and the Spanish will make this small detour in Europe before finishing their season in Asia, then in the United States. The English Florentyna Parker and Georgia Hall, members of the European team during the last Solheim Cup, will also be among the headliners of this 27th edition.

Finally, as every year, French women will dream of winning in their national open. In addition to Céline Herbin, memorable winner two years ago, we will find at Chantaco - pending the award of the last invitations - Gwladys Nocera, Isabelle Boineau, Alexandra Vilatte-Farret, Jade Schaeffer-Calmels, Valentine Derrey, Justine Dreher, Sophie Giquel -Bettan and Anne-Lise Caudal.
