A page in women's golf turns in this Chevron Championship week. After many years, Mission Hills Country Club crowns its last major tournament champion with the success of Jennifer Kupcho.

The moving day allowed him to turn in the best card of the week and to settle comfortably in the leader's chair. His card of 64 (-8), nine birdies for a bogey, allows him to start the last lap six strokes ahead of Patty Tavatanakit. She finally plays 74 (+2) in the last round, five birdies for seven bogeys, enough to take the victory. She won the tournament two strokes ahead of Jessica Korda, author of a last card of 69 (-3).

Jennifer Kupcho wins her first major at the age of 24, also synonymous with her first victory on the Tour. His best career result so far was a second place at the Evian Championship. This title deserved a little dip in the water hazard of hole 18!
