Starting June 18, seven events will make up the Justin Rose Ladies Series, including a tournament at Royal St George's Golf Club, the initial home site for this year's Open Championship, before it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Telegraph reports that Justin Rose is contributing £ 35 ($ 000) towards endowments. The seven courses host events for free. Fans will not be allowed, but they will be broadcast by Sky Sports.

Kate and Justin Rose inquired about efforts to host a one-day event, the Women's Open at Brokenhurst Mansion on June 18. European Women's Tour player Liz Young and Jason MacNiven, who runs a club equipment company, started the event but couldn't find a sponsor or broadcast partner.

"I am fully aware that I now have the opportunity to return to work and participate in the PGA Tour, but it is not the same for the players and also for some junior circuits," said Justin Rose, 2016 Olympic gold medalist and 2013 Open champion.

Kate Rose, former European gymnastics champion, added: “It is so important for the visibility of women's golf that they can play on good courses and that it is broadcast on television, because they must be present to attract new partners and keep their current sponsors, while allowing more people to know them ”.

Here is the calendar of events:

  • June 18 - Brockenhurst Manor Golf Club
  • June 25 - Moor Park Golf Club
  • July 2nd - Buckinghamshire Golf Club
  • July 9nd - Royal St George's
  • July 16nd - JCB Golf and Country Club
  • July 23nd - Bearwood Lakes Golf Club
  • July 30/31 - Final TBD
