The Tamarina Championship Golf Club (Mauritius) and the prestigious Grand Hill International Golf Club (China) have just announced the twinning of their respective golf courses.

Located in the capital of the province of Szechuan in the southwest of China, the 18-hole par 72 course in Chengdu has proven that it was designed for the most prestigious championships. Extending over 4200 hectares of greenery, the fairways cover 1200 acres.

6,6 km long, it passes through valleys, lakes, bunkers and forests. Olivier Souchon, CEO of Tamarina Championship Golf Club, said he was very honored by this twinning : “This opens the door to a new kind of partnership with the emerging Chinese economy. This major event coincides with the launch of the weekly direct flight between Chengdu and Mauritius since July 6, 2015 ”.

For the record, let us recall that 34 Chinese tourists have chosen the destination Mauritius since the beginning of 150. Olivier Souchon adds by wishing a prosperous relationship between the two clubs, driven by mutual love for this sport which promotes friendship , humility and respect. The Tamarina Championship Golf Club thus enlarges the list of its partnerships with other clubs such as the Blue Basin GC on the sister island of Réunion, Arabella GC and Erinvale GC in South Africa, La Nivelle GC and the Chiberta GC in France or Vines GC in Australia.
